Through the Eyes of a Child

Stroker was craving chicken wings from Logans tonight so that is where we landed for dinner. He was disappointed when his order was delivered only to find out that they no longer have breaded wings. He told me that this was out last trip. We all went ahead with our meal, but you could see the look on Strokers face that he had been let down. Then as we got up to leave, he knocked his sweet tea right into his lap. We all got a big laugh out of that. Looks like the only place left to get good wings is Hooters.

Tonight was the annual Christmas parade here in town. The theme this year was "through the eyes of a child". The parade was about an our and a half long. The Drouillards met up with us to watch the parade again this year. I enjoy watching those boys more than anything. They were so excited. In the beginning, they could not wait for it to start. Once it was moving along, the slowly and steadily inched there way out into the street. Jett knocked off about three hot chocolates while we watched. Dash drank about one and a half. Grey fell asleep after the first fifteen minutes. Just wait until next year. He will be down in the street with his brothers.
I think I got the real experience of the theme this year. Those boys were in awe. Watching them get so excited makes my heart smile.
