Winter Won't Let Go

There was storms on Monday, March 19. I made chili for dinner and we stayed in.   Winter made a reappearance because it got cold.
We went to a Teen Challenge banquet on Tuesday evening, March 20, 2018.  This is the first time that we attended this banquet.
I used a couple of Chic-fil-a gift cards for dinner at church on Wednesday, March 21. The kids loved the change up from pizza.  We studied the Crucifixion and resurrection for our lesson.
Dr. Nash met me at Craw Daddy's Wednesday for lunch
There was a church building committee meeting Thursday evening. I made a couple of dishes to take over to the meeting. I made moms apple dumplings as one of them.
I tried the new coffee shop Wednesday morning.
I tackled Wal-Mart on Friday evening, March 23. It took a lot out of me, so I just grabbed McDonald's for dinner. I can't handle Wal-Mart and home cooking all in the same day.
We moved tons of stuff into the shop on Saturday, March 24, 2018.
It rained all day, but we stayed at it anyway.
I cooked at home, done laundry, cleaned both bathrooms, stripped the bed and washed the sheets too.
We only had one delivery on Sunday March 25 after church.
I stayed home all day on Tuesday, March 27. I was beat. We did make it to the movies Tuesday evening to watch "I Can Only Imagine".
There was no church service on Wednesday this week, so we had dinner at the Rose Garden.
Church was on Thursday instead because it was Maundy Thursday. We did a lesson on "the tomb was empty" for our class.
We went to the Chris Tomlin Good Friday concert again this year on Good Friday. It was AMAZING just like last year.

We ended the week and the month with a day full of rentals on Saturday, March 31, 2018

Sunday

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

We had a great dinner at Timberloft Restaurant Friday evening, March 10, 2018.  Four of our friends met up with us there. It was our usual Friday night crew. There was karaoke, but none of us were up for that.
I visited daddy on Saturday after we dropped off the consignment stuff at the Pass It On sale.
My hair appointment was overdue by Sunday, March 11, 2018. These gray hairs are turning into gray patches these days...and I don't like it.  My appointment wasn't until evening. We had already been to church at lunch at Olive Garden before that.
Lee and Judy met up with us on Monday, March 12, 2018 for dinner at Logans. We have a select few people that we have dinner with 3-4 nights per week.
We keep a small circle 😁
I broke down and cooked on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  I also sold moms TV stand that I had bought for her.  I like clearing things out, but it kinda brings me down to watch her stuff go.
sunrise in Cookeville
I talked to the City of Cookeville as they installed  the sidewalk in front of our house. I can't believe they are finally putting this in for us. We have waited a long time for this
Looks really good doesn't it?
I'm excited about it 😀

On Wednesday evening, March 12, 2018 our class had a lesson on the Lord's supper. Stroker and I had went by the day before and set everything up. The kids seemed to pay attention and were interested in out lesson. We also watched the video "Come to the Table".  Ivana asked me to play it again and again.
Our actual supper was at Cracker Barrel after church. I found a new pair of spring rain boots while I was there too.
On Thursday, March 15, I went to visit daddy for a while.
Brooke and I stopped for ice cream at The Lazy Cow before heading to Sparta.
Brooke is getting started on her new job. Everybody had to report in this evening to clean the concessions.
Her first official day at work was Friday, March 16, 2018. She was a little upset that she had to work and miss out on dinner at Demo's in Lebanon with us.
Devin helped us with our two deliveries on Saturday, March 17One of our renters sent us home with some of their awesome Cuban cooking. We used to love there restaurant before they decided to close. 😍
We stopped by and visited with Judy Goodwin for a while. We were right by her house and decided to stop in.
Brooke had to work 11:00-6:00.  That's a long day for someone just starting out, but when she got home, she had nothing but good things to say about her first day on the job.😊
We picked up our unsold consignment items after church on Sunday, March 18, 2018.  We also had to make a trip to Livingston. By the time we got home, I decided to lay down and take a nap.
Here's a picture of man and his best friend from Sunday night.

Friday

March Madness

I cooked dinner on Thursday, March 1, 2018. It's a rare event, but I did it. I went with something easy like Taco's. I also made these Zuchini spears that I found on Pinterest. They are so good. I went ahead and cleaned the main bathroom and got that over with for a while. I hate scrubbing tubs and showers.

After getting it all spic n span, I soaked in the bathtub and listened to ASMR for a while.

Devin helped me with a set up on Friday, March 2, 2018
We had dinner at the Blue Pig. I have had lunch there before, but I think they were overwhelmingly busy tonight and just struggled to keep up.
Devin's room was next on the cleaning list at our house, so that was done on Saturday, March 3rd.  I'm talking...sweeping under the bed, polishing the furniture, washing the blankets and sheets.  He has a tendency to let dust get out of control.
Brooke worked on the front landscape on Saturday,. She moved all of the rock out of front flower bed so that we could have more dirt brought in.
After church on Sunday, April 4, 2018, we went to Lennox birthday party.
We stopped by to visit the Drouillard's on the way home and Hollyn dialed 911 on Brooke's phone.  We thought we caught it in time, but Stacia called me later and said the Sherrif's Dept. had just stopped by her house to check it out.
When we got home, my hunny bunny grilled hot dogs for dinner.
It was a great day 😊

Monday March 5, 2018 was a bit more mundane. I made some spagetti for dinner and that is about all I accomplished.
It was sunny on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, but it only got up to 40°.  I am so ready for spring, but winter will not let go this year.
Brooke cooked us hamburger helper for dinner. She loves that stuff...and I love when she cooks.
We talked about the meaning Palm Sunday at church Wednesday night.
School was 2 hours late on Thursday, March 8, 2018 because of snow. I met up with Dr. Nash for lunch and Stroker, Brooke, Devin and I all went to dinner together Thursday night at O'Charley's. It is rare that we all go out to dinner together.
We tried out the Timberloft Restaurant on Friday, March 9. It was really good. They were busy though. We waited about an hour for a table. They also have karaoke, but non of us got up to sing.
