Visiting Around

Brooke and I went shopping for Matt and Michelle's new baby boy on Monday, June 11, 2018.

We got two cute outfits, a diaper bag, pack of diapers and a pack of wipes. 

Now...to get them delivered.

The dogs jumped in the back of the truck again when I let the gate down. They always assume it is for them to get in.

 The bear saga continues...

We went to another convention on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. This one was just an hour away. 

We almost made a purchase, but decided to hold off.

We got home in time to invite the Drouillard's over to play.

Lilly can't wait to go on a jeep ride.  

At church on Wednesday, June 13, 2018,  we discussed the man by the water who was too sick to get to the healing waters when the angel stirred it up.  

We talked about how Jesus told the man to get up because he was now healed.

We had crab races to see who could get to our water the fastest.

After church, we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner.

I had to drive Brooke’s jeep to work on Thursday, June 14, 2018.

We had a busy evening too.  We have been full throttle all month long.  On Friday, June 15, 2018 we took a trip to Dodson Branch and then met up with our church group at the Dipsy Doodle for dinner.

Brooke had to work from 8-3 on Saturday, June 16, 2018. That will give her some vacation spending money. We were super busy, but we had help. It was a beautiful (but hot) day out.

After we got out of church on Sunday, June 17, 2018, (Father’s Day) we went right back to church to see Jett’s baptism.  From there, we grabbed a quick lunch and headed to daddy’s.  

We spent several hours there before heading up to Mildred’s.  We were tired from being on the go all the time, but we wanted to make the most of our free day and visit as much family as we could.

When we left, we went by to see Byrd and his family.  Brooklyn (not our Brooke) rode with us in the Jeep to take her home and we visited with them for a while too. It was after 10pm when we got back home.

I called up Georgi on Monday, June 18, 2018 to see if she wanted to join us for dinner. Brooke was at work again. We picked up Georgi in the convertible and drove over to Zaxby’s for dinner. We have not gotten to hang out with Georgi in months. It was great to catch up.

Dr. Nash met me for lunch at Craw Daddy’s on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. We have not seen each other in a month or two either.  We like getting together for lunch occasionally.

Brooke and I took Shay, Quay, & K.O. to the movies Tuesday to see Incredibles 2.  Good thing we got there a little early, because the place got so packed that people were sitting on the floor..

We tried a fun game at church on Wednesday, June20, 2018. We had the kids finish a verse that we started. When someone finished the verse, everyone takes a step back and tosses the water balloon to their partner without bursting it.  The Kids really seemed to have fun with that.

We met up at Sonic afterwards for ½ price milkshakes.

Brooke had her first rain storm with the top off the Jeep. She was visiting me when the storm snuck up. She tried to make it home, but ended up drenched. We had been to lunch and everything and didn't see that coming.

The first day of summer Thursday, June, 21, 2018 brought a nice rain storm mid-day. It cleared up afterwards and was nice weather. We took Matt and Michelle’s baby gift by their house. Helped deliver a chair to Stroker’s new friend, went to drop off Paradise’s birthday present and stopped for dinner at Sonic. You can tell that it is the longest day of the year, because we got a lot done today.
